I am applying for a TRV visa from Germany for my father. We would like to visit other family members in Canada as a family. The family members are related to me on my mother’s side. My mother, my brother and I have German citizenship which is why we will apply for an eTA. Only my father has a passport where you have to apply for TRV. He has the passport of the respective country, an ID card of the respective country and a German residence permit.
I now wanted to fill out the form online on the IRCC website.
My first question is whether I can tick the item: "Other Family members" for my father since he is married to my mother and she has cousins and has a great aunt in Canada.
My second question is whether I have to enter the ID card of the respective country under "National Identity Document" or whether I have to enter the German residence permit.
