Name change outside Canada

I am a PR holder (PR card in hand) , currently overseas and will return next yr.

I recently changed my name on my passport. ( had No surname, so essentially split the given name into two )

Will I have entry issues/hassles ? If so any advice to ease it would be most appreciated..

If your name on the new passport does not match as per the PR card, the airline might not allow you to board the plane.
Talk to the airlines by calling their call centre. If they allow, well and good then make sure you carry your old passport, new passport and PR card.

Consult your nearest Canadian embassy and get a PR travel document. Once you are in Canada, renew your PR card with new name.
