its called an administrative refusal, and it will not affect your future trips to the usa. The border official will indicate that you were not seeking to enter the usa but just flagpoling. Alot of people have done, and have not had any issues entering usa. To be sure just you can ask the officer and they will clarify it, but am 100% sure you will have no issues.

I just have a question i got ppr on April 24th and it also asked for rprf police clearance and background information.. we sent the passport with Dhl on 16th june and I've heard nothing yet and they told me that they no longer accept return coupon.. is that right?

hi! you just have to keep on updating your eCas and email them every now and then to keep updated.

I have quieq question , my wife has an interview on October 6 and I don't know if she has to get new police certificate ( we have submitted original in June 2014) as the later she have received saying bring original police certificate with you on interview day anless they are submitted with application . this means the old one is expired ? As its over a year now. Thanks

my medical expires 26th september. . Will i have to repeat the medical if i don't receive my passport by then

Nairobi does not extend medicals in most cases.
You will most likely have to resubmit medicals, but wait for them to request them or email them now and ask them if they would like you to resubmit medicals.
If they request your passport, it will take them a minimum of three weeks before they return your passport, which is right around September 26th.

I fyou submitted your police certificates, it looks you were not asked to sumbmit them, since it says clearly ''unless they are submitted with the application'', which you already did.
however if getting a copy is not complicated If I was her I could get another one just to be on safe side.
as what I have heard, Medical exam expire but not police certificate.

Thanks lonleyguy , yes we have submitted ,but as u mentioned it's bater to get one to be safe and I don't want any delay cuz of that .... Some times officers confuse u ...

So Nairobi VO has your passport already?
No, it shouldn't take them that long to get back to you. Have you tried to ask them how long it will take for them to send it back via email?
Also, ask your spouse to contact their MP to investigate the situation.

Nairobi VO had my passport since June 30th 2015, but that was because they asked me to do new medicals in July. After passport request, I found they were much better at communicating about how long it would take them to return my passport.

I got confused about interview later regarding my wife application , i need some one translate for me
(we have submitted original police certificate with our application June 2014 .)
DEAR XXXXXX.
Interview is necessary to assess your Relationship to your sponsor.
DEPENDENT CHILDREN ;- over age of 16 included in your application , who intend to immigrate to canada with you , must accompany you to the interview , at the interview please present the following ORIGINAL documents for all persons on the application ( if applicable ) unless they have already been sent with your application
- your passport
- police certifcate or clairance from each country in which you and everyone in your family aged 18 years or over , and who are included in your application , have resided six month or more since reaching 18 years of age . thanks
