Congratulations Aioiki

We're all happy for you. Your patience has finally paid. Wishing the best for the rest of us.

Awmf, whats GMFC notes?

Thanks

You can order by CC. Follow this link:

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

Your wife will need to sign the consent form in order for you to apply for the notes on her behalf:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Fill out the consent form with her info, print it and have her sign it and then scan it and upload it. Pay the fee and your done. If you have anymore questions just ask.

P.S Awmf i am tracking your application because i think that we will be hearing the much awaited news around the same time.

I have also applied for notes today.

Best of luck to all my fellow African friends ;)

@Acecube I thought you would have already received good news. I have been looking at your app as well.
Pretoria is supposed to be faster than Nairobi, according to last year's annual report. Well, I hope we hear some good news this month!

I am on my knees praying! Keep me posted! All the best :)

Need some advice. My husband got request for new medical exam went to the Dr and the test he need to do takes 6 or more weeks to get results which would mean we exceed the 60 days given I sent email to Nairobi to get an extension 12 days ago and still have heard nothing do I just continue to wait for a response? As I emailed them after their request because the Dr we were using had no idea how to proceed and they emailed me back the same day. Is it even possible to get an extension it is out of our hands as this is what the Dr says so I'm really hoping its possibel .

Hey Meena, who replied you on the same day you emailed? Is it the embassy? If it's them then they must have told you how to go about it right?

Not sure about how long it takes for the medicals but you have to do the medical in SPECIFIC Hospitals that the embassy wants. The place you go for your medical send the results to the embassy and you don't take them to the embassy yourself.

Not sure if this helps.

All the best

Thanks for sharing good news Aloiki.

We are happy for you. All the best to your and your family :)

I'm doing a re medical and on the letter the embassy sent me it says you have 60 days to send all required documents but since the test they need takes 6 or more weeks I'm wondering if they allow extensions of the 60 days

hmm, you medical hasn't expired yet. I am wondering why they requested re-medical. your medical would expire in November.

If you need an extension call or email them and explain why you may need the extension. If you have a genuine reason, and you give them notice, they should be able to accommodate you.
