Nairobi Applicants 2013???

Hello Everyone,

I followed this forum from google. Here is my situation.
I submitted sponsorship application for my wife in Kenya on October 8th, 2014.
I received an email from CIC saying that they approved me as a sponsor and that they submitted my application to Nairobi Visa office on December 16th, 2014.
My e-CAS says application received since December 16th.

Any advice? or I just have to wait to the next step?

have you done your medicals too? at this time your ECAS would also show medicals have been received. Nothing much you can do if you submitted everything. Just wait and nirobi will let you know when they need anything from you, and when they need your pssport for visa stamp. All the best

I also submitted my forms around the same time. My medicals were also submitted and that shows up on my ECAS. I don't expect we'll hear anything until Feb/ March. All the best. Keep us posted when you have some news!

I have submitted medicals with the application but that is not shown on ECAS. all it says is: (We received xxxxxxx xxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on October 9, 2014).

I guess I will have to wait.

Congrats on ur first approval. Just keep checkin ecas on the meidcals. They will update once they are at that point. If they require any further info from you they will contact you and ask for it. At this point you just have to wait and keep checking your ecas. They will update once recieved. Dont worry just relax. You have given them all they need. Let thwm do their part and get back to you. If ur unsure come and ask your questions on this forum. They are very helpful. Chipolopolo has been the best. Very supportive and informative always.

Yes, I submitted my medicals at the same time. They showed up on ECAS around the time I got my sponsorship approval.

Yes, you are right 2yrs now, actual I initially paid for Pr application for my family since early of 2012,
In 2013 i submitted my forms and all what they requested.
Since then I emailed Nairobi several times, they keep on giving me the same response , that am still within processing time and that my application is still on queue. :'(.

IAm happy and congratulate all those whom are through with the process, but same time I feel like its un fair.
Well, best of luck to all and lets pray for each other.

wow sorry to hear you have been waiting for so long. What class did you apply for? family class shouldnt take upto two years even though they say 21 months, most people still get processed within 6-12 months. It appears they have exceeded the normal time. You now have the right to contact the MP of the area in canada where your sponsor is from. They will get access to your file within 24 hours and let you know what the delay is. Wishing you all the best..
