Ashsher I submitted in April 2014, Had an interview in November 2014, am now waiting for PP request if it all goes well.

Maylius... im sorry for late reply.... I think we should all start an avelanch of prayers and positive vibes to boost all our spirits so our positive vibes go out in the universe and things start getting done so we can be reunited with our loved ones. Its almost monday, the embassys will be ready to start clearing files lets all put our hands together and join in prayer for quick positive results early this week. ;D lets all write our thoughts and post....... ive put mine out...lets help each other through this.....let the magic begin......

From your timeline it seems like it will not be long before you get ppr. The christmas holidays slowed things down for sure but its a new year, new vibe... let it role. our passport thas been embassy since november 5 2014. 2 months and counting....

Ashsher yeah the Christmas season has slowed down things but we are hopeful for this year. About the interview question, they were so simple. However some are not really questions, they are more of statements...
Here you go

• You are [Put the name of applicant eg Maylius].
• You were born in [put the year eg 2010].
• Do you know your sponsor?
• How are you related to your sponsor?
• Has your sponsor ever visited you?
• How often does your sponsor send you money for use?
• How often do you talk to your sponsor
• I was asked to identify some people in the photos that were submitted by my sponsor.

The VO who interviewed me was so calm and asked me not to fear him, let me just answer what he asks. At the end he asked me whether I had some questions for him. The only question I had was "Have I passed this interview?" And he said "YES" ;D

happy new year..good that you ask that. When i was approved for my PR last november. I emailed them to ask a question about landing. The replied to me within 24 hours. Just make sure you put your application or UCI number as subject in email. Wishing all you nairobi applicants a speedy process in 2015. I was very fortunate enough to have my file processing in under 6 months. The office was moving very fast but i guess holidays slowed it down. Am sure you will all get some good news this month.

Hi, I hope you okay, I have been following up with your posts and its been two months since they requested your passport by now they should have issued the Visa..but Don't panic sometimes it depends on whose handling your file I have heard people wait up to 4 months. but you can send them an email inquiring about your file I'm sure within 14 days they will respond and inform you whats going on.

Hi Jamainsid1910 many thqnks for your support. It is quite stressful i must say waiting. We got a request for return coupon and also ppr. After 6 weeks once passport was delivered to embassy we enquired right before xmas holidays and were told that it will be taken out of the que in early jan 2015 for final review. So im keeping my fingers crossed to hear something within 2-3 weeks. Anyone know how long final review takes?? Thanks again for your support. Much much appreciated ;D

YAAAAY, MY PASSPORT HAS BEEN POSTED BACK AND IS ON THE WAY THROUGH DHL..

so, here's what i did guys, my mom called the IMMIGRATION OFFICER on Monday and asked about our visa etc... and he said that our passport in in queue for visa printing and should be printed and posted back by this week itself. Indeed, today i checked my return courier tracking number and saw that the passport has been posted back. Maybe by tomorrow or Monday we'll have our passports in hand.

Here's the direct number in the immigration section (not the receptionist who never pass on the call or give information) : 254-20-366-3400

You can try you to and see what can be done to make your processing faster. be polite and play a bit the emotional card.

guys guys guys with all these smiles i have some news to share. Our ecas changed to decision made yesterday. ;D ;D. We are finally done. Now we wait for return of passport and then we start packing. For all those that are waiting your time will come soon. They are working fast. Keep positive and we will update when we recieve passport.

Thank you very much. Got my passport with immigrant visa stamped back on Monday morning at 9 a.m. together with my confirmation of permanent residence and some instructions for landing. Already booked my tickets and will be flying on Thursday night 22 January, arriving at Pearson Airport Toronto on Friday afternoon Good luck guys.
