Nairobi Applicants 2013???

Hope you are doing well .

I am doing well myself but I tried to call Nairobi and the phone is not working.... I receive message from operator that the reception is busy that I need to try in another time. Any experience with calling Nairobi? any tips will help.

Hello Dimshin,
Thanks so much for your advice and encouragement to send more documents that i feel necessary to Nairobi. i will do that exactly this week and am sure by next week they will have recieved them. Am in Uganda and it takes 2days for FEDEX to deliver them. Then i will wait patiently knowing that i have played my part. Am sure God will see us through very soon so that are reunited with our loved ones.

It would have more weight if your husband sends those docu's from here Canada, they think every one in Africa is just hungry to come up here....not always true though.

I appreciate your advice and indeed my husband sent additional documents (photos, full history of our email communications, etc) and hopefully by end of this week they will have reached Nairobi office. Then we shall wait patiently again and see what next....

Hi everyone,

I just got back from my short vacation with my husband but i`m afraid the waiting game still goes on up to now. Nothing from the Nairobi office so far :'( but i hope everything works out for the best. I wonder if anyone from the March or April applicant have heard from the Nairobi office? It keeps me wonder if every proof i`ve submitted was good enough? It really unpredictable at this time for sure. Good luck to all and lets keep being patient for little more weeks or months. God i hope its not a year

Our timeline is almost close, just that i applied a month earlier than you. Nairobi is so silent which keeps us all very eager and impatiently waiting. I last heard from Nairobi in May informing me that my file is in the interview queue & since then still waiting.
Please members, lets keep all our hope high as soon we will get through.

I`m sorry that your file got caught up on the interview queue, it`s really hard to imagine what next step will be but they might waive your interview in the end. My prayers are with you and to all of us on this journey. I`ll keep my updates if there is anything i`ll hear from them.

Hi,
The additional documents that my husband submitted to Nairobi were delivered last week (16th July2013) as confirmed by DHL courier and were received by Nora at the Visa office. However, i think my husband submitted quite a lot, (100 photos, 77pages of emails printout, 20pages of chats)... on my God!! i imagine the visa officers reading through all our emails/chats will laugh becuase we communicate everyday.
For now, i just prayer that they get to confirm that our marriage/relationship is indeed guinine and waive off the interview. I wish Christmas would find me with my husband. Eagerly waiting for a communication soon.

I called Nairobi office about any update to our application and they said that our file is on queue for review.
Is anyone know how long it takes in theses days when they say it's in process (officer said, but not on online yet)?
