Wow wow wow!!!!! Just got email CIC wants wife's and daughters passport and payment for imergration to Canada fee!!!!!!

Hello Rose13,

For sure on my side there is no news, its now the 3rd week they have my passport so am guessing they`re now running a background check or something :-\. Dealing with CIC is painful, the waiting is killing me but i thank my hubby for his unconditional support every single day :-*.
With God`s blessing, we`ll have good news soon. I wish you all the best with your up coming interview! If anything changes, i`ll update!

I really understand what you are going through with all the waiting after cic requesting your passport. I even wonder what they could be doing with your passports all these weeks. But still, all this is beyond our control and all we can do it sit, pray and wait.
It will be a surprise, to wake up the next day & they are calling you to pick your passport with visa already affixed in it.
Try to keep the patience please, all will be fine. We are almost reaching our final line.

Am really so happy for you for having received such wonderful news from cic.
Hmmmmmm you must be filled with joy and eagerness to finally be with your beloved family. Please submit the required passport and pay the fees as soon as possible. And Come end of September or October all this will be history.

I want to warn you friends if you have child overseas. Get them citizenship and passport. I have bad news CIC will not give my daughter visa they don't do this for Canadian citizen of birth rite.
So yes my wife will get visa but not my daughter. Now we have to apply for citzensjip and then Canadian passport. Urrrrg!!!!! This is real upsetting. While we work on this my MP will phone Nairobi to see if there is away around this

Hi Scott,

It depends.... if you want your wife to drop the passport, she can do it at the Embassy and when they`re done with it, they`ll call her to go and pick it up or she can use FedEx/DHL which is another cost.Since she is there in Nairobi, she can just drop it at the Embassy.

By the way, she should remember to put her Client ID #, full name and her telephone/mobile # ..... even though they have all of the information but making things easier for them does help in one way or the other. I hope all goes well and the passport gets to them this very week. Good luck!

Hi Scott,
I know you might be feeling abit low about your daughter BUT Please don't spoil your mood with the issue of your daughter, be positive and remain hopeful that after your MP's call things will be fine. Sincerely CIC should try to be understanding because a child cannot be separated from his/her parent just like that, there should be a way out.

I have a simple inquiring regarding my interview. Do i need to get any letter of recommendation/acknowledging our marriage from anyone like relatives, siblings or my hubby. I was just wondering if it may be necessary on that day. Otherwise, i hope am ready and God's blessings are upon me.

Ooooh another thing, do i need to present my academic documents, work identity card, employment letters too? I have them but not sure if i should take them as well.

Am happy to announce that my E-case has changed today to Decision made! 8) I wonder what could be the decision but am positive about it and I hope i`ll get the letter /my passport as well before the end of the month! I cant wait to give this news to my hubby :-* in few hours from now!

At this point, you need all of the tools to win this war so whatever you think could help or could be asked for your interview, just make sure you have them and you really don't have anything to lose by being super prepared . God bless you with your up coming interview.
