N/Delhi VO ... post-26 JUNE 2010 applicants...lets get connected

I GOT MY PASSPORTS BACK TODAY, WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN I GOT A CALL FROM POSTMAN, BUT THEN AGAIN IT IS ND CHC . I GOT LETTER SAYING THAT PLEASE RENEW YOUR PASSPORT AS YOUR PHOTO IS VERY OLD AND WE CANNOT STAMP VISA ON IT. IT JUST DELAY OF ANOTHER ONE MONTH . I HAVE TRAVELLED TO MORE THEN FIFTEEN COUNTRIES AND NEVER HAD PROBLEMME WITH PHOTO . BUT WHAT CAN I DO BUT TO WAIT. :'(

Unsure if you read this already! There is ND VO, can never stop sending surprises ???

I'm worried as Prab's passport is 11 years old and he looks a bit different than the photo in his passport :-X

I guess it must be OK, but this is to prove that there are just too many things that can delay your application . Also even if they ask to renew Prab's passport now, we will have trouble as it's still valid until 2017 i guess. Passport officials will again hesitate to do that. Luckily i got my passport reissued just in time for our application because of an error in the place of birth in my passport

I also read that ND VO does site visits(rare though) for the background checks .. I'm gonna tell his colleagues to be prepared, in case they decide to give it a shot!

Although my Passport is only 2 years old, even I look very different as the photo I had used for making my Passport was quite old.

Do you think it can also cause issues?

I just hope (at least) this photo thing does not cause any issues. It will just make me feel all the more vexed.

BTW, you Wayne and Anil are doing a wonderful job of maintaining the Sheets. Keep up the good work.

Child Below 5 = INR 700

Between 5-11 = INR 1050

11 - 15 = INR 1950

>15 = INR 2500
