Hi All

Sorry, on a question-spree tonight! This is regarding family class (spousal) sponsorship.

I have read in multiple places/threads on here that your application will be returned to you if you leave ANY fields blank on ANY of your forms. Do we really have to go through and write "N/A" in every single field and next to every single set of checkboxes that do not apply?

I have read the instructions for the various forms and most are vague or contradictory to the instructions on the form itself (ie my question posed in this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/form-5669-membership-or-association-with-organizations-t93475.0.html) in regards to this matter.

I have no problem taking the time to do this, but I want to be sure before I sit down and do it...it's a lot of fields and will be a big waste of paper/time if I mess this up.

to be honest I left so many irrelevant blank spaces on my application without putting an N/A there and still got approved,

I am sure others will share their experience on that!

Thanks, I would be interested in hearing from others too!

Would putting "N/A" in the irrelevant spaces be a bad thing? Something they'd return the application over? :-\

Some people do it to be safe. Personally, I put N/A at the top of an irrelevant section and then drew a line through the section. I also made sure to put N/A beside boxes on the checklist that didn't apply.

To scarycemetery and anyone else: Does this include on form IMM 0008 after the barcode had been generated as well?
