My wife is an international PHD student and recently got pregnant

Hi Everyone,

My wife has been here since 2008, and has recieved an undergrad in Canada, a masters in Canada, and just finished her second year of PHD.

She recently got pregnant and is concerned how this will affect her study permit, can she take maternity leave?

What is the best option for getting her PR?

Congrats. Yes she can apply her maternity leave while staying on study permit.
