Hi everyone,
I've been a reader of this board for a while and have found it very enlightening to read about everyone's experiences regarding Family Class. My boyfriend is a UK citizen in Canada on a work visa expiring in June, but is currently unemployed (it's a long story). We are common-law and want to apply for PR for him so that we can stay together. After reading a lot of your tips, we have decided that Outland might be best for us and I have started looking at the paperwork.
It seems pretty straightforward except for one thing:
the small Ontario town where we live isn't listed in the dropdown menu on the forms!!!
This means that I can't validate either my Sponsorship Application or the Generic Application. Does anyone know what I should do with this? Can I print it blank and write it in? Do I just put the nearest town that is listed? Do I add a note/letter stating that our hometown isn't listed?
Any advice is very much appreciated. I know this is a very stressful process; I just didn't expect to run into issues like this so early on. lol
Thanks!
MissLissa
