Sorry for the delay in response.
No, my friend had not received an AOR when he applied for his wife.
************** UPDATED ALL ********************************
My friends wife got her SOWP... JUST within 6 weeks... UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT... LOL... I am very happy for them...
I know there folks on the string waiting for more 3 months... From India itself...
I asked him many questions...
1. He did not put ANYTHING for home ties for her
2. He did not put her resume or work experience or educational certificate
3. His cover letter/invitation is so simple and straight forward
Hmmm... I guess his wife's file was handle by an angel...
4. He did not address even a single reason for the first refusal
I AM STILL IN SHOCK... In a nice way...
5. He only put his work stuff... His positive LMO, CAD bank statements, T4, pay stubs, relationship proof, etc...
That's why I've decided to take it easy... Get my CEC application in order... Then send out the SOWP application with AOR for CEC, in shaa Allah...
Avez~
Good to know. SOmetimes u just gota do what u can and leave the rest. I have applied for OWP -S (July 8th) and we just received our AOR for CEC. SO its been almost 4 mnts and i dnt know wats going on..
I wish u the bext Avez and Raj.
Also, in my cover letter the lawyer has mention some legal terms where spouse cannot be separated and they have the right to be together. They had also mentioned that my wife had a positive LMO and it would be a loss if she leaves Canada just because her husband is not united with her. It was obviously put in legal terminologies.
I have extensive travel history. I have travelled a lot in the past.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Ben
