After I declined my previous ITA (I had 501 points then) and updated my profile the points went down to 489. I just received an ITA now, but my points on the ITA still shows the previous score (501). What I should do now? The last time I updated my profile was 2-3 days back.

As the points are both above the latest round, you should be able to submit it as is. From what I have read, an officer will review this and see that during that round you had more than the score requested. If you had less now it would be returned to you.

You should be good.

Agreed. I read the same thing on CIC review process. You're fine because you have more than minimum required score.

When that happened to me they told me to decline and wait for another round of invitations....

It says - "If your new score is lower than the minimum points score in the draw from which you were invited to apply, you
should consider declining this invitation to apply."

Minimum score is 453, and both 501 and 489 are above... you are good man, celebrate your ITA... ;)

Well that is going to be terrible, coz it is a mistake on their side and not mine. Also, I've already declined it once and don't want to do it again.

I hope so.. Thanks, just not sure if I should celebrate it yet!!

I had to decline it twice because of it. The clause that they have there about score not falling below, cic agent told me to not play with it and be safe and decline. I know it sucks... I even had to withdraw my profile and create a new one so the new score is registered correctly.

Just for clarification, @Karolis you mean to say,

1. you created an EE profile, submitted and transferred ti.
2. Received your first ITA
3. Then had to update your EE profile, which changed your points
4. So declined it and entered the pool again
5. Made your changes, got a new score and profile was submitted
6. In the next draw you received your second ITA, with old score?
7. When you check your transmitted EE application it shows all the changes you made + your EE profile displayed correct score
8. But when you check your PR application, the data carried over still had contents from previous application and not the updated ones

Did you face the exact same scenario? Sorry all these details might sound stupid, Why I am trying to be so specific is that, last 2 times I was lucky to fall under the required score for the draw, but you never know what will happen in the next draws. Points may go up and I might end up not getting ITA again at all.

That is exactly what happened to me. I received my 2nd ita on march 27 and was under by one point in the last draw. So you can imagine the stress I was feeling but I mentioned before that anyone with 450+ shouldnt worry as they will be invited sooner or latter. It seems like I was right. At the end it is for you to decide whether you want to go with that clause of not falling below the min crs.

I have the same problem. Declined the Ita since I've made a miscalculation and now got the Ita with the previous score.
I won't decline again, since I have 456 and I think is good as it is.
This is stressing !!!

It happened to me too. I got on mar 27th. I declined and reduced my POF amount, removed spouse experience and submitted. In today's ITA I got with previous score and POF too. I'm not going to risk and decline now. I will take the screenshot of my submitted application with updated POF and spouse experience and then go ahead as my score is fine without them too. Not sure if declined again they will invite or not!!!!

Its only a PDF message I am sure they have the actual profile on their system do not worry, they do not care about a PDF which is sent to the applicants. I have the same issue, just make sure you profile %100 matches your E-APR. You are good to go. Do not decline its getting tough dude, you never know.

Good luck
