Anyone who travelled from Saudi to Toronto via Heathrow , pls share if changing terminals on London Heathrow is an issue, how far is terminal 3 from terminal 1 ! Is it correct that there are no visa requirements for moving between terminals ! Thanks

May I ask why you want to take the flight through Heathrow?

Saudia flight to Toronto is currently the cheapest in the market.

cuz I got the best price this way and layover at Heathrow is also not that extensive, around 5 hrs! my query still awaits reply.

Hi,

You don't need visa for transfer… transfer takes around 30 mins from terminal 3 to 1…I always travel thru Heathrow… so be sure…

I have a quick question. I have a Texas driving license since may of 2010. I was wondering if I need to give a permit test or a driving test if I apply for a driving licence in Toronto. I.e I am landing in Toronto in December this year. Plus, my dad is the PA and he is flying a day early with family in Toronto from Nepal. I am flying a day after from Dallas to Toronto to fulfill my entry.I don't know if that will be a problem and I was also wondering if I need to carry extra documents or just the visa and the COPR will be fine ? Please help.

No visa requirements if you hold Canadian visa.

However, please note that in case of lengthy delay @ heathrow, you may not be allowed land-side for hotel, etc if there are long delays or cancellations. Cancellations are rare so you should not worry much. 5 hours is enough time to change terminals.

Once you land at heathrow, follow "flight connections" signs.......don't waste time, just keep following "flight connections" signs.
This can take some time, so make sure you change terminals as soon as possible.

I just checked saudiairlines.com the lowest fare for JED-YYZ is SAR 2471 for Dec 5, 2013.

Airline's online reservation is always cheaper then a travel agent.

dear rizmayo, I am flying from riyadh, and think that fare I paid is quite reasonable too. It's not always money but you need to look so many other things as well while moving with family. I was getting cheaper air fares on Egypt air but with quite lengthy duration of travel and arriving Pearson at odd hours. I will arrive Pearsons at 1500hrs inshAllah
