My Immigrant visa Canceled ( Urgent )

I Got accepted as PR in canada and i got Immigrant Visa Valid from Jan 2017 till November 2017 to do my landing today i got this email from CIC :

Dear Sir,


Please be advised that your visas have been cancelled in our system. Your immigration application has been re-opened for further verifications.

what thats mean ?

Looks like they found something in your application or received further information that resulted in them cancelling your Immigration Visa and probably your COPR. You won't be able to use them to become a PR (if you haven't already) until they finish their investigation. Are you being sponsored?

I am allready in USA I was thinking to go and try to cross and do landing is that's good idea ?

And is this common on CIC system?

Your sponsor didn't ask CIC to cancel your visa, right? Or did s/he?

No she didn't, we are married and we have a Canadian daughter as well

That would really not be advisable, unless your intention is to make things infinitely more complicated for yourself. You know your own situation the best. Is there anything at all that you thought you had gotten away with, that may have come back to haunt you? Something in your past that you did not declare? Anyone with a personal vendetta against you or your wife?

Just hang tight and don't do anything that might make things worse of you. It could just be something minor that they have to re-check.

No - not a good idea. You'll be refused landing. Your COPR isn't valid in CBSA's system - so you can't land. You need to wait until the additional verification has been completed. Maybe something came up late in your background / security check.

Hello, can I please ask you what did you end up doing? Did u eventually get a visa?? And what was the reason for the cancellation of the visa? Thank you
