My Funds are included Funds of my mother

Dear All,

I have some joint accounts with my mother and FDR's are also on joint name with my mother. In my funds requirement I included that Saving Accounts and FDR's otherwise my funds were short.My mother given the affidavit that If I use her funds for PR then she would have no objection. Will the Visa Officer accept it. Kindly advise

You have to show the bank statement or deposit receipts in your name.

But My question is funds are on joint name so bank statements will be on the name of both my mother & mine.e.g.Bank statement shows the Balance of Rs.2 lacs so technically One lac is of mine and one lac is of my mother. But my mother has given the affidavit that she would have no objection if her funds are used for my PR....so would her funds be included in me.

they will not accept joint account statements unless you both are applying. so if your mother is not applying for PR with you, you cannot use this account statements as a proof of funds.
this is true for moscow office. your local office may have different regulations, although I'm 99% sure the rules regarding funds are same. the best way to find it out is contacting your visa office.
