hi guys I'm still waiting for a POVL. how long does it usually take after meds? and what happens after meds are done? does it mean that if I received med request all other checks are done?

I got med forms on november 2. med exam passed on nov 10. waiting for POVL now! :)

hi you need to print out the fingerprint cards and do fingerprints. I didn't bother to go to the police office (I didn't really need the FBI clearance as I stayed in the US for less than 6 months), so I did fingerprints by myself - and in blue ink, although they require it in black ink. anyway...

why by 1950?

I think they will accept it as long as they gave you file number. this means that your case was opened back in April, so your docs will be evaluated based on old rules

as far as I understand, they devide youк part-time work experience by 2 - if you have worked 2 years part-time, that would be equivalent to 1 year in full-time job. I'm not sure whether they count part-time work experience while studying or not. I think they do, and I think I've seen that...

aakash28, they asked to submit new CC info via mail, same address in Sydney we send initial applications to. they gave me my case number to put it on the envelope, to make sure the letter doesn't go astray I'll PM you their email - not sure its ok to post it in the forum
