In my country, you can get 2 PCC for each application. I am still considering which one is best since I am a little afraid of making mistake one more time :(

If I had a friend, I could change the name of receiver, and would ask him to write by hand visa office. It might take only one day. But I have not any friend in NS :(

It's 50-50 chance. They either return it or send it to the visa office representing your country of nationality. Depends on the case officer handling your file.
There seems to be some variance here.

I heard of an application returned because the person had written "England" on for the name of the visa office, whereas it is London. However, London is the only visa office in England so it was pretty pernickety to return the application because of it.

For a visa office an applicant can choose their country of nationality or their country of current permanent residence. So I guess there is only really a decision to make if these 2 differ.

It's bad luck for us this time. Although we have asked DHL to hold on my package, I just tracked my shipment and the status is "with delivery courier". So maybe CIO got it today. So my case is closed today, on 10 May, after many troubles with WES, I killed my application by just only one stupid thing! ;(
Well don't mourn just yet.

Which NOC did you apply under? Looking at the spreadsheet for new applicants NOCs 2174, 2147 and 1112 will fill up very quickly, but I think there will be a bit of time on the other NOCs.

My NOC is 2147. So maybe I lost my chance this time :(

I was too stupid when believing that is an optional box. I was considering and did not raise the question. That's my fate, fate of a stupid! :(

If you are for noc 2147 it seems this looks likely to be the most popular NOC.

So you face a choice:

1) Try to get your application back, make the amendment and resubmit. However this will cost time, and by the time you have resubmitted the updated application it may be too late.

2) Risk it and see what happens during the completeness check. If your country of nationality and country of residence are the same, then there should only be 1 visa office which serves this and therefore there shouldn't be an issue. I guess it depends on whichever clerk opens the file. I am not sure if they have exact guidelines for what to do if the visa office space is missing.

It's a tough call either way. Knowing that 2147 could fill up in a matter of days I'd be tempted to risk it and leave the application with CIO and just hope you get through the completeness check ok. If the clerk opening the application has any common sense, and there is nothing else missing in your application, then you may be ok.

This time, that's my fate! I got confirmation from Canada DHL that they will not deliver my package to CIC, but just tracked my shipment and learnt that they delivered to Mike in CIC office

So, I believe that I missed this time!

Well your best bet is just see what happens.

If the visa office is the ONLY detail missing from your application, and the clerk running the completeness check has an ounce of common sense, hopefully they will just enter the correct visa office on your application based on your nationality or country of residence!

The only way you'll find out is when you either get or application back, or you get your CC charged/draft cashed, which will indicate your a successfully through the completeness check.

Anyway, it ain't over til it's over, there is still a chance! :)

Thanks so much Cappuccino. I love Cappuccino ;)

Can I submit another application next week? I am gathering all necessary documents and maybe it will be done by Monday. If my new application arrive while my current application may be accepted, will they deny both of them then?

Of course, I need to write a cover letter to explain why I submit again.

Actually you can submit more than 1 application.

If you can afford the cost of sending 2 applications then by all means send another one. If the first one is rejected due to the missing visa office field there is a chance the 2nd one could be accepted. But be warned I think you will be on very tight timelines with the 2nd application.

I'd add an explanatory note saying that you are sending this 2nd application because you believe you missed a field on the first application. Once the completeness checks are done, if by any chance both applications make it through than the officer doing the eligibility review may be able to marry the 2 applications up and will ask you which one you want to cancel.

Be aware this will involved a second lot of processing fees though, as well as getting all the necessary supporting documents together (originals where required such as IELTS results).

I can absolutely guarantee they won't deny the first application just because they've received a second, each one will be judged on its merits, so it's a no-lose situation from that point of view if you can afford the costs involved with the 2nd application.

Wayne.
