As long as she has some sort of address proof with her name on her parent's address, it shouldn't be an issue I believe.

Where was the passport issued? If there is a need for the police verification, then it may take a while.

It was issued from Ghaziabad (UP) and parents are in Uttarakhand.
Read in other threads that applying from embassy will not require any physical verification irrespective of difference in addresses.

Hello, I am in the same case. I live in US and I need Indian PCC. My passport doesn't have my husband's name mentioned in it. But the address in my passport is the same as my parents current address. Will that be an issue?
