MY CIC & ECAS websites down- Mass Updates?

In ECAS, after you login, was your name always big, caps and bold under "On-Line Services"?

Looks like mycic is back up. My thoery of ECAS being down though is that our servers have been diverted so that refugees can stay informed on their statuses. Check out refugee forums and you will see ECAS updates and no one/very few people complaining about ECAS.

Yeah, Thats new government for you...we pay the fees and resources are diverted to others. no disrespect to refugees...

I understand that. I am just blaming CIC.. atleast CIC should manup and just let us know that our applications will be delayed due to refugees instead of keeping us in dark...

I got an email that there was mail in mycic but every time I try to open it there is a download error and cannot access the letter. I have reported the technical issue but I dont know how long it will take them to respond my wuestion is anyone else having this issue?

How did you let you know about the PPR? Did you get DM before that? If My CIC does not work for you, where did you read about PPR?

Anyone else ever get stuck in the English/French splash page redirect death spin? You log-in, follow along and then out of nowhere, it bounces you to the English/French language choice splash page. It's been this way for months now and it randomly allows entry and denials. The only consistency with the CIC website is it will be down, and often!

This happens to me ever since I created my GC key profile for work permit 3 years ago, and now continued with EE/PR applications. I can't remember ever entering my profile without at least 3-4 attempts.
