Hi,

I have been unable to access system from morning and about 15 mins ago I checked my email and got a message
say account has been updated.

I am still unable to access the system-its still down

Could you share your timeline? hope its DM/PPR for you :)

This is probably due to some unprecedented issues. Maintenances are all scheduled and announced earlier and it is usually after midnight. This is the longest down time I've ever experienced on CIC. Putting this along with the new Immigration Minister took office last night makes me wonder what is going on really.

Sorry...I got AOR yesterday.

I am not at that stage as yet.....just was reading the thread

Haha, we are so pathetic! :o ;D
Let's hope it's good news and not a system failure.

Hoping the new minister has ordered to send mass ITA's/DM/PPRs to show that he has assumed office :P

I am really worried that they are going to stop processing all applications till then bring in 25000 refugees !! its all good and fair ,.. but still :-[

Seeing this is an active post, can someone please help me answer this question.
My EE profile is at 432 after i turned 40 and updated my ECA. I noticed some weeks ago that I no longer meet the FSW but still eligible for CEC.
Does anyone have any idea what could have happened? I was eligible for both FSW and CEC before. :(

CIC Website Update: "Our online services are currently down. We are working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience."

I also have that fear because 25k refugees will mean that they have to reduce the number of people trying to immigrate through other classes.
Scary :o

or they could just close/approve all our existing applications and start working on new refugee applications. Be positive ;D

Hello yesterday I was listening to a webinar by one of the Immigration Lawyers. He said that he attended some gathering where CIC reps. were also present. There he was told that right now CIC is actually getting rid of the backlogs when it is done EE will be fully functional and everyone would be selected from EE. So they say there will be a score drop and they expect to send ITAs to those who stands somewhere between 350 to 450.

So there is hope.
