Hi all,
I am an Afghan national , and I obtained my master's in transport Engineering from Japan. Presently, I am living in Turkey. I had been planning to go to Canada via Phd, but I could not find a potential professor. Therefore, I am thinking to immigrate to Canada via other options such as EE,and provincial programs.
I took the IELTS academic test recently , and I scored 8.5, 6.5, 6, 7.5 ( L,R,W,S), overall=7.0. Lets say, if I take the general test and get a similar score, how do you see my chances of immigrating to Canada? I have two years of working experience from 2012 to 2014.
If I get the same score in the IELTS general , my CRS score will be 386. In your opinion, is it worth to spend 200$ for WES and around 200$ on the IELTS? what are my chances if I have a CRS score ranging from 380-400 ?
I would appreciate your guidance. Thanks !
Cheers,
