I observed, my background status changed from "We received your application the next step is to conduct background check" to "Not Applicable".
What is the significance of this status and what will be the nest step? Need your help to understand.

Order GCMS notes. I think you are somewhere in the midway to PR.Here is my timeline guys
AOR- Feb 17
Med Passed- MARCH 28
BWOP Approved - APRIL 8
My Background changed from In progress to NA since march 28th, it never changed again do you guys have any idea what stage my application is at, I have email cic and then they said they are processing my application at Ottawa , any suggestions are highly appreciated
Yes.. But in the GCMS everything should be visible I think.I got PPR while my background check was still "Not Applicable." It never changed until after they received my passport copies. Others have reported the same. Since early this year, the background check status is not a reliable way to figure out where your app is in the process.
Thanks for your reply I will order themOrder GCMS notes. I think you are somewhere in the midway to PR.
