Hi everyone,
Please give some thoughts on my case.....

I became a canadian citizen in 2000. After 8-year's marriage, I divorced my ex-husband who sponsored me to get my PR under family class route in 2002.

In 2007, I married a guy who holds a study permit and studies for his Master's at a university in ON currently. Right now, I want to sponsor him to become a PR.

My ex sponsored me a decade ago, now I'm planning to sponsor my current husband. My question is whether I am qualified for the sponsorship or not. Will CPC-Mississauga turn down the application? Will CIC re-assess my previous marriage and will my citizen status be revoked?

too many questions to ask...
Please help me out...

People divorce, it happens. As long as you didn't divorce 24 hrs after obtaining the Permanent Residence, nothing looks suspicious here!

From what I remember, you qualify to sponsor as long as you're a Permanent Resident or a Canadian citizen. Period. You will likely have to explain why you previous relationship ended and meet other common requirement but that's it.
