Hi,

I have applied for EE to Canada and in my profile it is showing Multiple PCC. Being an Indian national I have mostly lived in India and apart from that I have travelled to UK three times on family visa and have stayed there for a total of 155 days (which is less than 6 months) on all three visits. So do I still have to get my PCC done from UK?

Pls. help, what are my options?

Thanks in advance!

H.

The word "multiple" is standard wording, whether you require multiple PCC's, a single PCC or no PCC the system will automatically generate a placeholder for police certificates stating the word "multiple"

But in any case I wouldn't need a PCC from the UK as the no. of day are less than 180 (6 months)?

I understand your point of view. But I wanted to know what they meant by 6 months, is it in the liberal sense or strictly 180 days.
You don't need it. But to keep you from over worrying, I recommend go for it;)

Hi,

I received my ITA and I am gathering all the documents to apply for PR. I reside in UAE but I require PCCs from Kuwait, India and UAE. I received the PCC from UAE and applied for Indian PCC at the Indian Embassy in UAE but they told me I will have to wait for atleast 2 -2.5 months to receive it.

What do you think I can do at this point as I will have to submit completed application before end of April which doesn't give me 2 months? Can I attach a Letter of Explanation stating that there is a delay along with a copy of the receipt of payment made for the certificate and that status as shown online? I tried asking for a formal letter from the Embassy but they will not provide me with one.

Yes, in case you are not able to get a PCC within the time period as provided by the IRCC, you may make it clear in the Letter of Explanation and also enclose a copy of the status of your PCC as shown online and mention that the same is pending and will take circa 2 to 2.5 months. I think that should be enough. In the meantime, they will start processing your application and once you receive the required PCC you may upload the same.

I work in london,UK and my native place is Delhi,India.

1. For PPC,
For UK PPC , I can apply online in UK
For Indian PCC, There are 2 options -
1.
I can apply online on Delhi Police website-
http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/citizen_services.html
Benefit-
A.It cost less
B.I don't have to give my passport

2.
I can apply for Police clearnace from Indian embassy VFS office in UK
Cons-
1. Expensive
2. I have to send my passport for 4-5 weeks :(

So, can i go with first approach?

2. For medical test from prescribed doctors

1. In UK Medical cost 350 pounds
2. In India, it cost Rs 5000/-

Moreover , I have to go India and I am getting the appointment in 60 days period.
So, can i get my medical done from India?

Please Suggest.

Thanks,
Sangeeta

Hey guys i have a question.
My Aor is Aug 6 and my wife is the prime applicant and i am the spouse applicant.

UAE is our country of residence and India is the country of origin.

At the time of submission me and my wife did not get a pcc from india. They had delayed the process, so i had attached a LOE for the same and also attached the receipts.

(Please note that i had explained that although we have never stayed in india for more than 6 months in a *ROW*. We have applied for a pcc from india 2 months back and still waiting for a reply. So please find attached the receipts for the same)

Today we got the PCC

Now questions is, should i upload my PCC by filling a case specific enquiry or should i just wait till they ask for additional documents (if required).
