My parents just received their 'Multiple Entry Visitor Visa', Do they have to come within 6 months of 'the date of issue'?
And once they are in, can they stay for the entire period on the visa, I mean till the date of expiry of Visa?
Your answers are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1. No, they to come before the TRV expires. There is an expiry date on it.
2. No, when they arrive they will be given a stamp with either no date, meaning they can stay for 6 months, or a date written under the stamp stating how long they can stay.

The expiry date is in 2016. Does it mean before that anytime they can come regardless of the issuing date.

Hi

Yes, if it expires in 2016 they can come as many times as they wish up to 2016.

Thanks PMM but I am trying to get clarification on, ''is there a timeline of getting enter to Canada for the first time. e.g. within 6 months from Visitor Visa issue date.''

HI

For the 2nd time, the answer is no. There is no time limit as to when the TRV must be used the first time.
