Hi everyone.

After 2 rejections (1 by paper and 1 online; reasons were Purpose of Visit and Ties to Country of Residence), my mother's TRV was finally approved AA but the validity was only 6 months. She has currently departed for Canada and should be back by next week iA.

Does anyone have any idea if she shall be able to get a multiple TRV if she applies again? Is there anyone who has received a 6 month TRV and then a multiple entry TRV after applying a second time? Please let me know about your experience. Any tips will also be appreciated.

There is a big possibility that she might be given a multiple entry next time. Her first entry and exit to canada will be part of her travel history and will prove that she will have no plans in settling or overstaying

Hi mystique9999, Can you please tell me what document changes brought visa approval for your mother? I also applied for my mother and myself visa but recently its refused.

1. what document change?
2. how much gap you gave?
3. anything you would like to suggest?

cheers

Hi sonuhere.

I got a invitation letter from one of my aunts in Canada and attached the tenancy contract and car registration. I also gave a cover letter and wrote down responses to the reasons for refusal.

If you're unable to get a invitation letter, I suggest you make a full itinerary and give a day-by-day plan for what you will be doing. Another good idea would be to get a ticket that allows you to visit another country on the way back. For example, you can book a British Airways ticket that has a stopover in London for a few days on the way back. Of course you will need to apply for a separate UK tourist visa as well.

I did not give any gap; I reapplied after a week after each refusal.
