Hi everyone..
Thank you in advance for reading and reply to my post, any help and experience would be much appreciated!
My situation...
I am a resident of Dubai, currently unemployed, in a relationship with a Canadian guy. (Currently fiancee). Since he popped the question we have been thinking of where to get married and how I can go see him in Canada and plan our wedding ceremony there since his leave days from work are limited.
So here are the questions..(I apologize if they were asked before!)
1. What is the best route to go and see him and get married in Ottawa? Should I risk applying for a visitor's visa from the embassy in UAE and or should we just get married in one of the islands or countries that are easy to get hitched in (e.g. mexico, cuba, dominican)?
2. Once we are married, is it easier and faster to lodge an inbound and extend my visitor's visa or should I leave and apply as an outbound applicant?
3. If we apply for an outbound application, will I be able to get a visitor's visa to see my then husband and help plan the ceremony etc as well as see him for a month or two before coming back to Dubai or will they reject my request for a visitor's visa based on my spousal sponsorship application being under process?
I'd all the input I could get on the safest and fastest way to do this without any problems.
Thanks again guys
