ms in computer science in canada

hi frnds, i like to do ms(computer science)in canada.i have ielts score 7 band. can i get admission with this ielts score in any of the canadian best universities (without gre).i heard that there are few job opportunities for ms in comuters in canada nd moreover ms in canada is apt for phd nd research based but not for jobs.is it right?.if not plz suggest me some best universities for ms in computers accepting ielts 7 (no gre)..

Bro... If you want admission in best universities then you need to give GRE .... As most of top universities like UBC, University of toronto and many more wants GRE score ;-)

i heard that gre accepting univ will have high tuition fee nd i can afford upto 10 laks only for 2 yrs
if 10 laks are sufficient, is jan 2014 intake is possible with those univs?
(not yet given gre, i have to prepare nd write it now.may be,i will have gre score in sep)

apply to the following universities

1)Concordia (still open for Jan one of friendz is applying this week)
2)uni of victoria (apply for may intake 2014)
3)UNBC(not very reputed but i believe all public uni in canada are okay+ fees is very less)
4)university of regina
5)memorial uni of new foundland

i think you should get admit from UNBC. Again its certainly not a famous uni , but since ur marks r low you have no work ex and you dont
want to do a diplomma & your budget is tight , this is what is safe for your profile with the strict filter we have put !!

if you apply to the course based masters for the rest , you can get admit aroun 40-50% chance.

with your profile concordia/victoria would be dream because of high competition thse days. but because not many apply to uni of victoria you might get thru , give it a shot. you have nothing to loose.

Meanwhile prepare for your GRE , that will open up a lot of options as well..

out of the 5 univs u suggested for my profile,i can expect admission in unbc ( as u said).But i have problem with the deadline of that unbc univ for jan intake.
so, plz suggest me some other avg universities like unbc to have guaranteed admission there..... 8) 8)
