Yes you can do that, as long as the money has stayed there for 6 months or more.

It doesnt matter what type of account as long as its money...

--What is the First language & Second language option which contain maximum 20 & 5 points respectively for criteria of selection of MPNP. As i'm a Bangladeshi which will be applicable for me?

I think you need to choose between English & french, check the website for info. You also need to probe this by providing an IELTS.

i've been reading the posts under this thread for past few days as i'm new here & glad to see all MPNP applicants.
Actually i'm also preparing to apply for Family support as i've a 1st cousin living Manitoba.
Regarding this i've some question which i could ask my cousin but want to share in this blog because you guys seem experienced.

--Can i apply to MPNP the following year as i'm preparing to deposit C$10000 in a bank ?

Hello seniors,

I need a clarification with respect to IELTS requirement for CIC application. The English language requirement for MPNP nomination is a minimum of 4 and once one receive LOA, one must also include IELTS results in the PRV application to CIC. While my IELTS score is 6.5, I did not have minimum of 6 in all the test areas. From your experience, how does CIC treat IELTS results for PNP applicants? Is the standard different from that of FSW where one must have overall score of minimum of 6.5 and not less than 6 in any of the test areas?

Your prompt response will be appreciated because I've applied to CIC for over a month now and yet to get AOR.

According to me, If any of the area is less than 6 and the overall is 6.5, is good enough. I had also the same as you. I have passed all the steps that require IELTS. Now waiting for Medical Request from CIO.

I think your supporter needs to have one year stay in Manitoba before he can sponsor.

Hi I am resident of Manitoba from last 7 yrs . Me and my brother r staying at same address . So my question is we want to sponser two families under mpnp . One family is my first cousin nd his wife ( paternal side ) and second family is my maternal uncle his wife nd son ..
So can we sponsor them from same address . I will sponsor my cousin's family and my brother will sponsor uncle's family

Hello Guys. Im a newbie here.

I was about to submit my MPNP Online application under the Family Sponsorship.... I have a cousin in Manitoba. My Online application in MPNP Online is ready except for the documents of my cousin to be uploaded in the Forms and Documents - Relatives and Friends category.


1. Permanent Residence Card/ Canadian Citizenship Certificate (already uploaded)
2. Manitoba Health Card(already uploaded)
3. Canadian Passport(already uploaded)
4. Proof of Employment.(letter of employment) (Not yet)

My status is I have below 10k Canadian Dollars for settlement funds. My question is, is it very necessary to upload that Proof of employment to be uploaded for the Forms and Documents - Relatives and Friend Category? or Shud I submit now my application for MPNP? because what I know is that the Category of Forms and Documents - Relative and Friends is use to upload proof of close familial relationship, ryt? please correct me if im mistaken. Is Proof of Employment of my cousin ( sponsor ) necessary to be uploaded in the MPNP Application?
