It's snowing here in Winnipeg. I hope it doesn't stick.

Anyway, I have been writing my blog during my free time and so far I was able to write my experience with PAL: http://tabs179.wordpress.com/2014/04/25/the-pal-experience/
(for those flying from Manila)

and the much awaited, landing experience: http://tabs179.wordpress.com/2014/04/25/the-moment-of-truth-the-canadian-landing-at-vancouver-airport/
(at Vancouver Airport, Port of Entry).

I hope it is useful.

Will do, I wrote something about my experience with Westjet. It's just a very interesting experience, not very useful. But in case you are interested: http://tabs179.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/changing-time-zones-from-british-colombia-to-manitoba/

where can my supporter submit my settlement plan part2?

Hi,

SP2 is not for you to submit. Your sponsor shall be notified by MPNP via email to comply with their requirementd including SP2. I highly suggest that your sponsor also submit that online instead of handing it directly to Manitoba office.

Hi tabs! I was busy for a couple of months and I was not updated of the news. Im glad that you are already there. Thank you also for what you shared to us (although your cellphone was not returned to you). Anyway, I hope you can also share your experiences about your new job there.

Still looking for work. Been busy with Manitoba Start which I will blog next. Tomorrow is my last day. I also have to take the driving license written test and a complete doctor's check up before I get a job and no more time to do these things. Waiting for interviews. Been to a few agencies and volunteering so far. Life is quite busy here here, I don't know where time has gone most of the time.

Hello Sidhu,

under which category did you applied?

I want to know under employer direct stream who will take interview of candidate?
I submitted my file in Sep 2013 and I am waiting MPNP letter SO how much time will it take get it?

Reply soon.......Thanks

Hello,
all,
i've been reading the posts under this thread for past few days as i'm new here & glad to see all MPNP applicants.
Actually i'm also preparing to apply for Family support as i've a 1st cousin living Manitoba.
Regarding this i've some question which i could ask my cousin but want to share in this blog because you guys seem experienced.

--Can i apply to MPNP the following year as i'm preparing to deposit C$10000 in a bank ?
--In which type of account i should deposit money ---Fixed deposit or Savings account ?
--What is the First language & Second language option which contain maximum 20 & 5 points respectively for criteria of selection of MPNP. As i'm a Bangladeshi which will be applicable for me?

First Official Language Points
CLB 8 or higher, or “native speaker” 20
CLB 7 18
CLB 6 16
CLB 5 14
CLB 4 12
CLB 3 or lower 0

Second Official Language Points
CLB 5 or higher 5

Please explain me above questions & thanks in advance for helping me.
