Hi! I'm from the Philippines, and I'm new in this forum. I hope you can help me with my application concerns.

I'm planning to submit my application online as soon as I receive from my brother (my MPNP supporter) his scanned birth certificate for me to upload as proof of relationship. Do I need to ask him to also send the scanned copy of his Manitoba health card, proof of employment and residence so I can upload them, or will MPNP be the one to ask him to upload them along with settlement plan part 2?

Also, I'm confused with what to fill in the EDUCATION page. It's asking for the total years of secondary education. Does it mean the years I completed high school (4 years) only, or should I include my elementary education (6 years) to make it 10 years? So should I upload only my secondary education transcript and diploma, or do I need to include my elementary educ.? I'm having a dilemma 'coz I attended 2 different schools for my elementary and secondary education. Fellow Filipinos, your response is greatly appreciated in this matter since we went through the same education system. Thanks a lot, and God bless and good luck to all.

2. Can she sponsor two applicants at the same time?

Answers:

1. Yes, your aunt can sponsor you, I believe this will be a distant relative. So, it will be general stream.
2. Not in your case, as you are not under family stream.

Hi! I filed my application online last 03 Dec. 2013. Got a reply the following day saying "Thank you for submitting an application to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This email/letter serves as confirmation that your application has been received by our office and will be reviewed to ensure it is complete and eligible for assessment according to current program criteria." along with a file number. My supporter sent Settlement Plan pt. 2 last 27 Dec.
Should I send a follow-up email for an update or should I wait some more, say 3 months before I request for update?
I'm getting a bit anxious waiting.
Also, i'd like to add my details to the tracking spreadsheet but i'm not familiar with the acronyms. I'm not even sure what infos./details I already have.

Hi Friends,

Do the authorities interview the MPNP candidates before their Medical Request?

I recently read a post where an applicant mentioned that "He & his boss were interviewed over telephone for about 15 minutes each". This happened just before he received a Medical request.

Is this a standard process i.e. is every applicant interviewed before medical?

I understand that the sponsors are interviewed in initial stage of the visa process (as my sponsor was interviewed) !!

But is there a second interview just before medical in which the MPNP applicant & his employer are interviewed ?

Please clarify with firm information.
Replies will be highly appreciated.

Hi! I just want to confirm if I got this message right..

When asked how many years is your secondary education, you clicked 10 years instead of less than 10 years?
is it because you included your 6 years primary education?
How did you fill up your education background section?
Did you put primary and secondary separately or together as secondary?

Online Status on 6th June 2012 : Application Received
Interview with my relative in canada : 28th August 2012
Additional documents and updated ielts required : 24th Dec 2012
All documents sent : 17th Feb 2013
Got married : 4th Jan 2014 (informed about my status and want to accompany my husband in application who lived in Spain)
Additional documents of mine after changes due to my marriage and my spouse documents as well : 21st Jan 2014
RPRF of mine and my spouse : 21st jan 2014
Online Status on 6th Feb 2014 : (In Process)
RPRF and documents submitted: 13th March 2014

HI. Can anyone help me please. I worked in BC for 1 year. and I transfered to Manitoba in January 2014. As what i know i can apply here under employer direct after 6 months. But i got an advice from a coordinator that its safer to apply after 1 year instead of 6 months for MPNP. Because of my 1 year work experience in BC they might think that after i get my papers i might come back to BC thats why i was advised to apply after 1 year instead of 6 months ? and she said if my MPNP application be denied it will take again 6 months to reapply? any one who has an idea?kindly send me message or email me pls at jhozeldumaquita@yahoo.ca thank you.

There are things I would like to clarify.

1. If I am currently here in ALberta Canada, can I apply MPNP under general streams?
2. HOw long will I wait to be sponsor by my Auntie who happened to be my Father's first cousin, if she sponsored my someone April this year?
