Hi Rose06, parang naconfuse ako sa 2 magkaibang sagot ni cecille/ esr at ng sa iyo.... :-(
kung tama ang opinyon mo, hindi kaya mareject yun application namin sa embassy kahit na may LOA na kami?
kung magkaganun man....sayang naman yun processing fee namin.... :-(
ang hirap magproduce ng CAD4K.....

hi sis, for me para "safe" ka po, just in case iba n nga ang requirements ng embassy regarding sa POF. Mahirap din kasi na ipagsapalaran natin lalo na kung medyo matagal na ang paghihintay natin at madami na tayo nagagastos. advise nga po nung cousin ko na nasa Canada na, mas maganda kung mas malaki pa dun sa required POF ang idedeclare natin. One of the major requirements po nila ay ang POF. Sorry sis kung naconfuse ka sa sagot.. dont worry sis, kayang-kaya mo yan..

Hi Rose06, may point ka naman bagay who are we to make such an excuse (kulang POF) to the embassy, e tayo naman nag-aaply na pumunta sa bansa nila.....we filed the application last March 06 lang and I have no idea when this change of POF took effect.
If only we knew di sana naghanda kaming maigi before we submitted the docs.....grabe ang laki pa naman nung processing fee namin
ang worse hindi sha refundable... :-(....

If somebody get rejection from MPNP, are they eligible to appeal it or would it be considered as new application from scratch?

yes an applicant may file an appeal within 60 days from the date of the refusal letter. i quote: "The MPNP will consider a request for formal review (appeal) of a decision not to nominate, if a request in writing is signed by the applicant and received within 60 days of the date on this letter of refusal. the request for review must provide sufficient details to indicate the Program Officer may have made an error in the assessment of the application based on the reasons described in this letter of refusal and the documents included in the application at the time of the assessment."

otherwise, you have to submit a new application at least six months from the date of the refusal letter

i believe there wouldn't be a problem with your application 8)

once you have LOA, i think there would be lower chances you will be denied once you apply for PR na sa CEM (Canadian Embassy Manila).
kaya ka may LOA in the first place kasi you satisfied the government of MANITOBA that you are an eligible nominee based on skills, funds and connections.

After that, applying for PR (Permanent Residence) comes next. In my opinion, should the CEM require you additional funds (they could do this and pwede din hindi 50-50 chance) and when you cannot submit what they require you in additional, then siguro duon ka magkakaproblema. Nagsasabi naman sila thru mail or email notifications kung may gusto pa sila ipadagdag sa iyo whether funds or docs. Sa tingin ko kasi CEM are just counter-verifying what you have submitted (documents and proof) sa MPNP. Ideally, the package you sent to MPNP are also the same compilation to what you will be submitting to CEM - except na lang may bagong template ang forms.

hello po, tanong ko lang talaga po dapat ngayon sakto $14k na ang liquid funds sa name ng applicant? un tita ko po kasi paalis na ngayon May17 and she had only php100k sa account nya, sinuportahan lang tita ko na nasa winnipeg. na-deny din po kasi kami because of this settlement funds

hi cecille, yung sa tita mo ok na yun kung may visa na sya. notice ko lng kc lately daming nadedeny sa MPNP level pa lng dahil sa kulang sa funds. dati ok n yung $5k as long as may close relative k dito na pipirma sa MAS2. dagdagan mo n lng yung funds mo, atleast 70% nung required + MAS2 at submit ka ulit ng application. isang factor din sa interview cguro ng sponsor interview...ask nila ako kung paano ko ma-assist yung sister ko pgdating nya...ang dami kung sinabi...sabi ko my nakita n akong work kaya lng ayaw nila ng hassle sa asikaso ng work permit, provide ko sya free accomodation, bayaran ko downpayment car nya...etc...tapos ask din nya ako kung how often kmi nag-uusap ng sister ko...sabi ko weekly...gusto nila marinig na talagang close kyo ng sponsor mo. gud luck sayo!

opo, meron na sya visa. magkasunod lang ang apply namin. i guess inabot ako ng paghihigpit nila regarding sa funds.

in our case po kasi, approved na po un tita kong paalis na, months before we submitted our application. sinabi din sa akin ito dati kaya mejo dinelay namin ang pagpapasa.

hi mylynie, tingin ko tama ka...kakainterview lng sa akin today ng MPNP officer sa 2nd about application ng 2nd sister ko. pinagsabay ko 2 sister ko last feb as in same date ko pinasa yung papers nila. yung isa #1 single mother, front desk attendant sa international cruise ship, funds: $ 12k time deposit, plus $2k regular acct., di ko pinirmahan MAS2 = LOA May 3. sister #2 married family of 3, but travelling alone, nurse, funds: P500k time deposit, plus 2k in regular acct., di ko rin pinirmahan yung MAS2 = interview today, sabi kulang daw funds nya kahit daw di kasam kailangan ng 14K, but will consider b'coz I submitted my bank accts. with enough funds...pero di positive yung takbo ng interview...feeling ko hinahanapan ng reason para ma deny... sister #1 officer -east indian, sister#2 officer - filipino. haay inaasahan ko pa naman n yung nurse yung mas my edge...well i guess i have to prepare another set of application for FSW for July intake.
