Tks for your reply. You said your sponsor already opened an acct under your name and you have 1790 in your bank cert and yet you are still asked to raise up to 5K. The reason why you were asked to raise up to 5K is maybe because of the total number of dependents you are going to bring. If I may ask, how many are you in the family? The amount of funds depends on the number of persons going to Canada. Regards. lormac

Hi everyone,

I just received my AOR awhile ago through an email, they're just requesting for an emplyoment certificate, im just confused because i have submitted an employment certicate already, anyways ill just provide a new one. They also ask me to fill up SPOUSE/PARTNER Questionnaire together with additional proof or relationship between me and my partner such as photos, letters and cards. I will just send all they needed for faster processing.

hi Bro/Sis, my sponsor got interviewed few hours ago. the officer ask few questions about our relationship and how she would support me and if we have other relatives in Canada. after the interview, my aunt ask the officer if everythings ok about my application? the officer replied that its alright except for 1 thing. My money is not enough she ask for atleast 5k can$ in my account eventhough my aunt open an account in winnipeg entrusted to my name with 10kcan$. The officer gives us until this Friday to fax her my new bank certificate. my problem now is how to raise the said amount in a very very short time but im really thankful that the officer gave me a chance though its soon too soon ??? pls pray for me. thanks and GOD BLESS US ALL...

why are there some inconsistencies in their requirements.. my bother got his LOA with only almost P50K in his account..his sponsor is our step-dad who is a canadian. Just don't lose hope okidokjim.. everything is possible with God.. just pray that He will provide the funds you need, Godbless you.

By the way, just got my AOR thru email last July 19, 2010.. additional requirement to submit is the police clearance of my husband in abu dhabi.. my husband just transferred to abu dhabi last month and yet they are already asking for a police clearance..i thought they will only ask for it if you are/were a resident for more than 6 months.
