@ Regina & for info of others who submitted to Manitoba last year:

we submitted to Manitoba June 2008 & received LOA Feb 4, 2010. that's about 1 year & 7 months. though we were required to submit docs in 2008 & early 2010.

good luck! i hope you'll receive LOA soon.

cheers,
clarice

Hi to all! We've just received our LOA... Just want to ask...my husband transferred to a different company while our papers are still on process..do we have to attach additional dox re his new work when we submit our papers to the embassy? Help pls..

Hi Ayieh,

I think its necessary because you have to submit original copy of certificate of employment to the embassy.

Good luck! ;)

hi ayieh!

same case with my husband's. he was employed when we applied under the MPNP, however, when we received the LOA he no longer works for that company.

i just used/filled-up a new set of application forms (not the one we submitted to Manitoba a couple of years ago) to reflect the changes. we didn't submit the docs which were not asked yet, but if you decide to submit them, i guess you have to submit a certification of/from his current work.

good luck!

Hi! Yours,
You can ask your friend if he/she submitted your application already. It takes year before you receive a letter of approval.

Good Luck to you! God bless!!

Thanks a lot for reply I agree with you its take aprox. a year for approval but before approval i receive any letter mean conformation that my application are submitted or not.

Thanks, best regards

Dear Yours,

In my case it took 3 months before we had recieved a letter of confirmation.

Dont worry sometimes there's some delay but it will surely come as long as you dont have problem with your papers.

When we apply I did not pray for it to be approved, I just wait and told GOD that if its really whats good for me, it will happen and it did. So you dont have to worry, because if things are really meant for you, it will surely happen.

God bless You!!!

Hello madam weng,

Did u read the guides bout sponsors? I think what is stated there assessment of sponsors will include previous sponsorship... they will actually see if ur sponsor will be able to show they are capable of supporting u financially...and I can see will affect ur application since its still on their hands and esp if ur financial support depends on ur auntie, .. advice ur brother to send their application when urs will get approved. Even then when manitoba will find out ur auntie can support u both then mayb its ok..
Anway maybe this helps... better advice ur auntie to get immigration attys in manitoba to get insights on these... I think they have special committee free of charges on their services to provincial nominees

my sister there in manitoba have done this before submitting our application.

Good luck to us!
