Yes I think you can still apply to the MPNP. I know a couple from the Phils who were working in the middle east when they applied to the MPNP. They are now landed immigrants in Winnipeg.mongtin said:question?

Hi Manubobby,manubobby said:Hi fgrd,
Under general stream, you cannot apply online, so in a normal case when you apply via normal it usually takes 6 to 8 months in any case, be it priority stream or not, and since general stream is not a priority stream, I would recommend you to wait. Try contacting MPNP if you dont hear from them by end of feb.. btw... your sponsors would be interviewed once their review your file, so please inform them to be ready for a phone interview from a case officer in MPNP.. again.. its a case by case thing.. not everyone had their sponsor interview.. but off late, most people are getting their sponsor interviewed .. especially people applying under general stream.. so keep ur eye open for that one.. cheers

Hi there, so happy for you!searching2002 said:Hello, everyone! Got my LOA today. Thank you, Lord!
You should pay for your RPRF in full, meaning for all applicants. Otherwise, it will cause delays in the processing of your application for permanent resident visa.BlessedMe said:Hi. i'm new here. i need to ask what hospital is your choice for undergoing medical? and do i have to pay for all of us (we are 3 in the application) for the RPRF, or is it just Ok to pay for mine for now? please reply. your response is highly appriciated.

We turn in the application for our friend on the 2nd week of July. And received AOR on August at the same time ielts was requested.. Have submitted ielts on the 1st week of nov. no update so far. No interview yet.. Our friend is also under general stream
Hi. My friend applied under family stream, by mail, last Sept 2011. AOR received after 2 months, November. If your papers do not lack any documents, you will probably get your AOR more or less 2 months after submission. Your Manitoba relative will be the first to receive the letter/AOR with file number. Your copy will follow much later. Otherwise, if there is anything lacking in your application, it will be returned to you without a file number. Your relative in Manitoba will likewise be notified by mail.mflicerio said:Hello! Im new here but Ive been following this thread for months now. My bro-in-law forwarded our application Nov 2011, under Family Stream, with my husband as principal applicant. Waiting for AOR. Anyone with same timeline? I hope to exchange info with fellow applicants. Thanks.
