Good day good people, it is my first time in this forum. Please a quick question. I want to apply under MPNP, I just want to find out if its okay if I submit fixed deposit certificate instead of bank statement as proof of funds.

Yes it is absolutely fine. I also submitted xerox of fixed deposit document alongwith certified copy from the concerned bank.

may I ask how did your sponsor received the notification that they must send the S2?

Hi! My sponsor was notified by email on the same day I applied.

She sent the S2 via email also but please take note that the email attachment must be no more than 5 mb, if I remember correctly. Anyway, just ask your sponsor to check if MPNP received it just to be sure. She can call the MPNP office to verify.

February 2012 received AOR (dated January 2012)
May 2012 received LOA (dated April 2012)
July 27, 2012 mailed visa application to CIC
August 01, 2012 application received by CIC
October 6, 2012 application returned, missing document
October 17, 2012 CIC received application
December 5, 2012 CIC confirmed Docs complete
Jan 11, 2013 Medical Request
Jan 21, 2013 Medical @ St. Lukes Extension Clinic
January 24, 2013 Attended CIIP Orientation
March 19, 2013 ECAS, started processing application
Mar 20, 2013 Request for additional docs/RPRF (history, NBI)
April 12, 2013 Sent docs/RPRF via courier
April 15, 2013 CEM received docs/RPRF

HELP.. i submitted my application as nominee program last july 2012, then october 2012 i received a letter from canadian embassy to take me a ielts exam then i submitted my ielts result dec 2012.. until now i have not recieve any letter from canadian embassy.. im beginning to think what happen to my application.. -rkaye

Mpnp website mentiond , a relative can sponsor one applicant , is that mean one family can sponsor one person or one person can sponsor. , for example me and my wife can sponsor one person or two and secondly when we get the nomination can we sponsor next person or we have to wait till they arrived in canad. Thanks

Yes you can use it, but its more better if you do have an account in a certain bank.. as they require to have a proof of funds also.. We can also wait for the comments of other people here.

Part of the assets should be LIQUID... equivalent to the amount required by MPNP in accordance with the number of dependents.

Got my LOA yesterday filling up application for cic. Do we still need to get a new bank certificate and statement? Do we still need to send a copy of our land tittle to cic?

Next question re rprf me and my spouse need to pay this also? I applied for family stream.

Bank certificate is not included in CIC checklist.
