@ Tabs..

I just clarified that they have only invited one friend which is me...the other is a relative ,they say its ok to do that under MPNP ..
Hi,

Please help me.
It is similar but not same in my case,
if my employer give me a job offer letter in the same time, he is also sponsoring his family for mpnp.

Is it possible or not at the same time?

I am waiting for your reply.

thanks

Who are 'they' in your post?

My explanation is quite sound as I got it from immigratemanitoba website.

http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/how-to-immigrate/apply/manitoba-support/

Your sponsor cannot be a sponsor at the moment. They can sponsor a relative but not a friend at the same time. This is the latest policy of Manitoba, in case the 'they' who told you isn't updated.

Hello,
I applied of MPNP on April 2013. Today my sister who sponsors me got the interview call. According to Case officer was very with my application.
Now my question is how long they take to answer about the nomination.
Thanks

Most likely within a month.

Good Morning Friends,

How are you all doing today?

Any updates?

@TABS

Thanks for the link ... but did the link did not specify directives with regards to where 1 spouse has endorsed a relative and the other endorsed a friend..

it clearly states that both spouse can individually endorse as much relative as possible but in the case of a friend it must be one .

in my case my sponsors husband endorsed for his relative (cousin) in 2012 and the application is still in process while his wife endorsed for me in october 2013. my question is .is this acceptable ? if not what can i do?
can another close friend add another sp2 form and endorse me as well ?while my application in progress..?

From my sponsors point of view the law does not state that a household cannot invite one relative and one friend..to this end my application is valid but honestly am in doubt. she says that it clearly statest that the household cannot endorse more than one friend at a given time and this is what they have done in respect to me.

what i would like to findout is can a household endorse 1friend and 1 relative ...

Thanks

It clearly states on the website that you CANNOT endorse a friend and relative at the same time but only allows relatives at the same time (providing the sponsors can afford it).

When applying for MPNP, it is your duty and your sponsor to read and understand the requirements and regulations that are actually, easily available and accessible. It is not MPNP's duty to tell you this. Additionally, they can only assess your application once they do further investigations on your sponsor and this is only when they are about to interview them. This is why, they haven't taken this into notice yet.

You CANNOT add anything upon submission of your application unless requested by MPNP. Therefore, all you have to do now, is to wait for their decision whether they will grant you an LOA or not. If they have decided to not grant you because of this regulation, don't worry about it. You can try again, but next time, make sure that your sponsor is not endorsing anyone else.

Some people are lucky, and were granted an LOA despite this regulation. So, just sit tight, as you are in your 4th month already.

@ TABS

thanks a million you cannot imagine how i appreciate your help... what would you advise... should i withdraw my application and use another sponsor or do i wait and take my chances.?

would it change anything to withdraw now and apply again without waiting for a refusal? what is the benefit if any?

@ tabs

My sponsor claims that MPNP just added that rule after she submitted my application... please do you have any idea when the rule of a Sponsor not being able to endorse a relative and a friend came out? anyway i can find out.?

If this job offer is not an MPNP but an LMO then it won't cause a problem. However, if you applied through MPNP, then it's not exactly a job offer, it's a nomination.

You can contact MPNP if you want to inquire when the policy was implemented. If the policy was implemented after your application then you have nothing to worry about.

If you withdraw, and re-apply next time, you will have to explain why you withdrew at that time. It won't really put a negative light on your application if you re-apply because you withdrew with a very valid reason. If you don't withdraw, and was not approved, don't worry, you can re-apply again.

Next time, make sure you read all the requirements and regulations before submitting.
