Hi Everyone. Seeking for all your advices. If I study in Winnipeg Red River College for 2 years and intend to settle and live permanently in Brandon as most of my friends are living in Brandon area. Will I still be awarded that 50 points under Regional Immigration? I am planning to look for a job there and live permanently on that city. Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Best Regards.

8th draw gone....cut off 558 and total 272 invitation issued... ??? ??? ???..
with this system i really dont know wheather they will reach 540 ? bcoz now competiton become very high.

As far as i know they are make plan to change the system from January-2016.. they will introduce occupation based system.

very bad system of EOI 7th and 8th draw just cut down 2 - 2 points....
I Think people in 540 points wait for one year approximatly ...hahah
and People whoes sponcer for freind and distance relative turn after 2 or 3 years my god..

Its two slow just 2 points again.....The one who has score of 400 I think better look to immigrate diff. country....Even 500 score will not see any chance before 2-3 years if speed goes like this....

"Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. "

i applied in 0631 - Restaurant and food service managers . which is a non regulatory occupation. can any one tell me please that i will get LLA or not ?? i will be selected when score reaches to 549 or not ?
my score is 549 !

Lexmark86, you will likely not get the 50 extra point because you have a strong connection to winnipeg.
