If I can, I would definitely go with Express Entry. It takes only like two months these days and on of the CIC's priority over pnp applications.

You know it could takes two years to get the PR for the pnp, right?

I am enormously happy that the processing of my application is already complete! Now I am waiting for the verdict from the MPNP!



5th Update:


My Timeline:

April 30 -- Submitted my EOI
May 20 -- Received the LAA
May 29 -- Submitted my full application to the MPNP
May 31 -- Got the MPNP File No.
June 9 -- MPNP received my Manitoba Supporter's SP P2
Nov 9 -- Assessment Pending
Nov 16 -- Supporter received a voicemail from MPNP
Nov 17 -- Supporter returned the call of MPNP + MPNP interviewed me & my spouse for 22.5 mins! = Assessment in Process
Dec 1 -- Assessment Complete


I am hoping and praying that I will receive the LOA in GOD's time, hopefuly very soon!


Dec 8 -- 1 week after my status was updated to "Assessment Complete"
Dec 15 -- 2 weeks after my status was updated to "Assessment Complete"
Dec 22 -- 3 weeks after my status was updated to "Assessment Complete"
Dec 29 -- 4 weeks after my status was updated to "Assessment Complete" / 8 mos after the MPNP received my EOI
Dec 31 -- 7 mos after I received my MPNP File No.

I have submitted an EOI Manitoba application and they have have sent me an LAA....is it possible to select another regional location within manitoba when filling out the LAA that is different from the EOI location??

Here's my timeline. I'm currently in Winnipeg working as a foreign worker.

9/9 LAA
9/16 file number
9/26 document request and uploaded at same day
(Bank transaction for the last 3 months)
11/8 assessment pending
11/18 employer interview
11/19 assessment in process
12/1 assessment complete
12/7 received LOA

And the nomination was issued on Nov 30.
I went to the Mpnp office personally to ask them when I could get the LOA and they say they don't know. And like 1 hour later, i got the email. I'm not sure if it is a coincidence that I received it after I went the office but Mpnp has a tendency to act fast when they are pushed. I have a long journey ahead with my soon-to-be expired work permit and federal part of PR.

No I haven't received LOA yet. I did not follow up with MPNP either. Do you think I should?
