How can I become friend with some one who lives in Manitoba and accept to sign the form for me. I have relatively good score for SWO but I don't know anyone in Manitoba
Is there someone who found a friend in Manitoba recently to apply for SWO? I really appreciate your idea and help.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MPNP 2015

1. Birth Certificates (All members of family)
2. Marriage Certificate
3. Transcript of Records and Diploma – High School and College if graduated (applicant and spouse)
4. Certificate of Employment for the last 5 years (applicant and spouse, should be at least 6 mos at work)
5. IELTS (applicant only)
6. Passports (all members of family)
7. Bank Certificate and bank statemets (for the last 3 mos) [settlement funds should be at least $10k for principal and $2k for each dependent]
8. Settlement Plan 1 (Part of MPNP online)
9. Worksheet assessment (can be downloaded from website, should be at least 60 points, save file as mpnp-points-surname.pdf)
10. Proof of Relationship with sponsor (if close relative, BC/MC)
11. Settlement Plan 2 (to be completed by sponsor and submitted within a month after online application is completed)
12. PR/citizenship card and MB health card (to be submitted by sponsor)

Znarfier, did you send your copies of securities and other investments ,
and proof of ownership of real estate including a current market price evaluation.
I think these are the additional requirements because it is not in the list above...

Hi kapete and znarfier... thanks for the very informative post regarding the required documents. I've just noticed that police clearance from the country we worked with was not included in the list. Does it mean that police clearance isn't required yet in the application and just required at CIC stage? please enlighten me because I'm having problem obtaining PC ;D

Yes manitoba dreamer, the police clearance from the country/ countries where you resided for 6 months or more will be required during the CIC stage, and not yet on the Manitoba PNP stage.

I was just thinking if EOI would have this category, for example, the first 5 draws will be given to those with close relative and the next batch of draws would be given for those with friends, regarding the applicants connection to Manitoba? Thinking is so stressful but because of this forum, things are getting better, reading all those positive advice from the members... I would like to mention and thank znarfier for giving a lot of information... still waiting for LAA!

Yes manitoba dreamer, the police clearance from the country/ countries where you resided for 6 months or more will be required during the CIC stage, and not yet on the Manitoba PNP stage.

thanks for the info bro... your information was such a big help... my PC application in Taipei has been rejected and needed notarial of passport from China embassy in the country that I am staying. The problem is currently, I am working in China ;D and communication barrier was such a burden here. Don't know how or who I am going to ask to locate the appropriate bureau to do the notary
CIC stage is still a long road... still waiting for LAA. LOL!!! maybe I'm already back in the Philippines by that time. It's more convenient to process it in my homeland...

Hi Polo21MPNP15.. issuance of LAA is based on the highest scorers on the EOIs, as you can see on the first 2 draws - the "cutoff" score is decreasing which means that those with the highest scores gets invited first with an exception of some professions (nurses, teachers, physicians). And, as we all know, contributory to having higher scores are those whose sponsor is a close relative which is equivalent to 200 points and you'll get additional 50 points if your close relative is located outside of Winnipeg which would give you a total of 250 points vs. having a distant relative/ friend only as your sponsor wherein you will just get 50 points. So we can really say that those having close relatives may expect to get invited in the first few draws because of the advantage in terms of points. Probably until the cutoff points on the draws goes down to around the 300+to 400+ points - that is the time those with distant relatives/ friends as sponsors can expect their LAA's.

Thanks for answering my query. That's what I actually thought, too Louise0324. I was just trying to get verification from others like you here and really appreciate it. I just can't think of "what if every month there are EOI_SW submitted with score of 500 or more", then what will happen to those who submitted EOI earlier with below 400. You're thoughts gave me hope and will wait for my turn to receive my LAA.
