Hey guys,

My girlfriend is in the middle of her MPNP application from the US. She was approved for provincial nomination in 2013, had her application submitted to CIC in January of this year. Shortly after, she received a request for medical results, then a request for right of permanent residency fee in April, which was paid right away.

Does anyone have any idea how long the wait could be now? It's been over 3 months without any change.

Thank you!

did she send her Police Clearance certificate with application? if yes then next step would be In-process application and she will get PPR request. If not then she will receive request to submit Police Clearance.

you can check your status online.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp use this link.

Thanks for the reply.

Her police records were sent in with her application, as per the instructions she received. Her online tracking just says that medical results have been received.

What does PPR stand for?

I'm under the assumption that PPR means passport request. If that's the case, I've also noticed that the instructions for PNP on this site mention that your passport won't be required for visa-exempt countries. CIC is listing US as visa exempt.

Hi john956, I don't the procedure for VISA exempt country, you can post in forum and also check on CIC site.
