hi guys i would like to apply in manitoba since their the only province (which i aware of) that offers pnp without a valid job offer. however with regards to the pointing system i dont think that i will pass since i have other relatives in bc and ontario.. is there anyone here that was approved in pnp though they have relatives in other province? thanks

Hi friends,

I am bachelor of technology in Electrical but work experience of more than 4.5 years in IT field as an analyst. Age-26. I got S-6, W-6.5, L-8, R-7.5 in IELTS. My express entry profile was created last year 01-09-2015 in NOC 2173 and its showing 370 points.

I dont have any relatives or close friends in manitoba who can sponsor me, still is there any chance of filing for MPNP?
Please guide me.

As far as I know through studies, you can only apply to Manitoba if you have a valid connection to Manitoba whether it is a job offer or relatives.

Hi Seniors,

I would like to get some help regarding eligibility of Manitoba sponsor. My brother moved from other province to Manitoba last year in march. He is on pr visa since 2014. He applied to Manitoba health and he received Manitoba health card approved from three months from date he applied i.e June. He started working since April there. So anyone have any idea when he is eligible to sponsor me??
Please help.

Hello kp_0330 !! As far as i know ... he needs to live there at least 1 year to be eligible for sponsor, so you can do the math, and if he is there for 1 year dont worry

I have applied under MPNP (Skilled Workers Overseas stream) for Manitoba, Winnipeg. My closest occupation that I found in the list of NOC 2006/NOC 2011 is Software Engineer and Designer (2173).

The question on Settlement Plan (Page 2) is as below:

Is your occupation is regulated?

I have given an answer to Yes.

*If your occupation is regulated, please explain what steps will be taken to start the licensing process before you arrive in Manitoba

Please help in this regard, I have selected No and given Not Applicable in comments. Is there any correction needed to my selection to the above last question*? Is it necessary to start the licensing process before my arrival in Manitoba?

The question they ask is more not about "necessary", but "possible"

You are really able to start the process of licensing with APEGM and make a couple of steps yet being in your native country (though, having no job offer or PR - you'll be unable to go further). At least, you can start the process of assessment of your educational credentials by APEGM (that differs from the assessment made by WES of other similar institution, APEGM does his own).

Is there anyone who knows of any successful MPNP since May 2015 with time line starting from LAA to LOA. In my own case, I got LAA at draw 12 of January 13, 2016 and submitted my MPNP application March 1st, 2016. I am a bit curious to know how long it will take before I can get LOA. Has anyone get success stories to share?
