Hi! I just want to ask how long does it take to receive a nomination in Manitoba?

Here's my timeline:


Sept 11 - Received an Invitation To Apply For Manitoba
Sept 30 - Submitted all the Documents
Oct 1 - Received AOR and File Number

Until now I haven't received a Nomination and the status of my application is still Received. Kindly enlighten me.

Hi good folks. I just submitted all my documents and i feel very stupid at the moment. I've been working at a web company since 2009 as an off-shore employee(work at home) so basically i got no contract whatsoever and only signed a non-disclosure agreement since i started.

I left the company December 2014 like a ragequit or something so I haven't spoken with my boss until this January(2016) sending a letter of apology and all. I tried to secure a work certificate but i was turned down and I'm basically devastated. So in the work experience on my submission, i specified that I am self-employed and downloaded all my earnings from paypal and it's my only proof i think to show my work experience.

And one more thing, I forgot to include my Police Clearance. Do i need a letter of explanation to include it?
I'm really disappointed and the hopes and dreams for my children will be gone...

Hi All,

I have received an LAA for MPNP. However I need some clarifications on the documents that needs to be submitted. can someone please help:

1. For educational documents , do we need to submit the transcripts or the degree certificates will be accepted ? While filling the final application form, it has an option of transcripts as well as degree certificates. But the list of documents mentioned on the website says transcripts. please clarify.

2. Employment documents : Should the reference letters be compulsorily on the letter head of the company ? Or a reference letter on a blank page with the visiting card of the colleagues will be acceptable?

I will appreciate if someone can guide on the above documents

Hi guyz can anyone help...or nyone can tell me abt dis.....i ve applied fr LAA for Mpnp .....my score is 598 ...nd d draw cutoff was 548 nd before 549...... I still didnt received LAA .....can nyone tell me ...r there more ppl like me who has not received it yet ....or may be dere is some my fault due to which i ve nt selected .....

PLEASE NOTE:

1. For reasons which could include a large existing inventory of un-assessed applications; low labour market-demand; and/or significant barriers to labour market participation, Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas in the following occupations have not been considered in this draw, unless they were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative:
•Registered Nurses
•Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
•Vocational and College Instructors
•University Professors
•General and Specialist Physicians

2. If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:
•You have indicated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid

•You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number

Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.

3. Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. However, the MPNP may not accept or may refuse full applications from those candidates who are not actually working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide proof of having undergone all necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba. I just submitted my application now. Please confirm the type of proof of fund you used. I used fixed deposit and was wondering if fixed deposit is recognised by Manitoba PNP

I just gave bank statements of me and my spouse, as we don't have fixed deposits so i'm not sure about that.
But I think it does say on the site as one of the proof examples "certificates of deposits" if i remember correctly.

I need help my representative show my file status "Inprocess" on web22.gov.mb.ca/sso/Account/LogOn website with a file number (starting with 11) and say nomination will be soon. i have a doubt about status , is file number only issued after getting LAA? or mpnp issue file number at submitting EOI? I want to know stage of my file , is it still first stage or after (applied to mpnp after getting LAA from pool).
