I need help my representative show my file status "Inprocess" on web22.gov.mb.ca/sso/Account/LogOn website with a file number (starting with 11) and say nomination will be soon. i have a doubt about status , is file number only issued after getting LAA? or mpnp issue file number at submitting EOI? I want to know stage of my file , is it still first stage or after (applied to mpnp after getting LAA from pool).

I just joined the forum,

Here's my timeline for my MPNP:

November 9, 2015- Submitted Expression of Interest (EOI)
November 27, 2015- Received Letter of Advice to apply (LAA)
January 13, 2016- Emailed Settlement plan to sponsors.
January 14,2016- Submitted full MPNP application.
January 14,2016 - Received MPNP File number
January 19,2016- sponsor sent settlement plan part 2

I would appreciate if anyone has any idea on how long the wait is for the next step? and if any confirmation will come by air mail or email?

Your sponsor will receive an email from the MPNP within 48 hrs or sometimes it takes a week or 2.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. For reasons which could include a large existing inventory of un-assessed applications; low labour market-demand; and/or significant barriers to labour market participation, Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas in the following occupations have not been considered in this draw, unless they were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative:
•Registered Nurses
•Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
•Vocational and College Instructors
•University Professors
•General and Specialist Physicians

2. If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:
•You have indicated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid

•You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number

Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.

3. Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. However, the MPNP may not accept or may refuse full applications from those candidates who are not actually working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide proof of having undergone all necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba. If this applies to you, you may wish to consider declining your Letter of Advice to Apply.

Re: Mpnp Application Batch 2015 - i think i'll be rejected.

Hi good folks. I just submitted all my documents and i feel very stupid at the moment. I've been working at a web company since 2009 as an off-shore employee(work at home) so basically i got no contract whatsoever and only signed a non-disclosure agreement since i started.

I left the company December 2014 like a ragequit or something so I haven't spoken with my boss until this January(2016) sending a letter of apology and all. I tried to secure a work certificate but i was turned down and I'm basically devastated. So in the work experience on my submission, i specified that I am self-employed and downloaded all my earnings from paypal and it's my only proof i think to show my work experience.

And one more thing, I forgot to include my Police Clearance. Do i need a letter of explanation to include it?
I'm really disappointed and the hopes and dreams for my children will be gone...

I believe that it is always possible to provide any proof as long as it is genuine. A visa or entry/exit stamps in your passport showing that you travelled to that place on the dates you claimed that you have been employed by a certain co. is a good proof. Or anything you have, like plane tickets, photo/s at your workplace. A letter in your co's letterhead. Things like that.

Fight and hold on to your dream espcially that you are doing it not only for yourself but for your kids as well.

GOD is good, so do your best and GOD will do the rest.

Hi All,

I have received an LAA for MPNP. However I need some clarifications on the documents that needs to be submitted. can someone please help:

1. For educational documents , do we need to submit the transcripts or the degree certificates will be accepted ? While filling the final application form, it has an option of transcripts as well as degree certificates. But the list of documents mentioned on the website says transcripts. please clarify.

2. Employment documents : Should the reference letters be compulsorily on the letter head of the company ? Or a reference letter on a blank page with the visiting card of the colleagues will be acceptable?

I will appreciate if someone can guide on the above documents

Hello Mr. Patel,

1. For educational documents: as I am no longer in the same page as yours, as far as i can remember, the System will ask you for a transcript and a diploma/degree certificate for each course/degree that you graduated in. Otherwise, it will Show that you havent uploaded the required documents completely. In most cases, I suggest, follow all instructions from the Website, emails, forms, etc. coz sometimes one of which is saying not the complete info.

2. Employment documents: It would be best if the reference letter is on the letterhead of the Company. Otherwise, any document or any form of proof will do as long as it is genuine.

Here's what I have posted in the other threads here...

Please bear in mind that the program officer was like a friend on the other line. A sweet young lady. I hope we were able to convince her that our hearts want to stay only in Manitoba for the rest of our lives... she asked us about our future plans. How long do we intend to stay in MB. This was because my spouse have relatives in another province. Then of course how close are we to these relatives. We can only tell her what's in our hearts. Nothing else. Our intensions are honest and so we have nothing to hide. I know that most ineterviews lasted 5-10 mins only. So ours was somewhat twice, maybe because she spoke to both the principal applicant and the spouse.

Here are the questions she had for us (supporter, me and my spouse):

1. who is my supporter and what's my relationship with that person
2. how long do I know my supporter
3. when was the last time I saw my supporter
4. the last time we spoke
5. whats my job and also my supporter's
6. do my spouse and I have relatives and friends outside MB
7. how long do we intend to stay in Manitoba
8. supporter's plan in helping the applicant + family

Hope all of you are fine.

I have completed 10-Years Secondary + 2-Years Higher Education. Then after I have done 3-Years Diploma (not Degree) in Software Engineering.

As, on the Expression of Interest page, I am lying in one of the two options in Factor 4: Education:

One post-secondary program of three years or more
One post-secondary program of two years

While submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI), the following two options are given:

*What is your highest level of education?

Two year post-secondary certificate
Three or more year post-secondary degree

Comparing the above two matches, which option should I select in submitting the Expression of Interest (EOI). Please help in detail.

Hi,
I am new here and need help.
Please I have some concerns. I have decided to apply to MPNP but before then, I had already indicated interest in Quebec skilled workers program. Without my interest in the QSWP, I have 575 points, but with it, I have 100 points subtracted from me. Should I just go ahead and apply stating that I have not shown interest in any other program.

Secondly, I will like to know how long it was for you to go through the process for LAA to issueing of visa.

Thirdly, Can one land in Manitoba and still relocate easily to some other province if survival is difficult? And if yes, how long do you need to do that?
