The timeline posted by a 2013 applicant only shows that the MPNP is keeping its promise for a faster processing time this year.... see below...

Application Received in July 2013
Assessment Pending on 20 may 2015
Assessment in Process on 21 may 2015
Assessment Completed on 29 may 2015

It just took 9 days from "pending" to "in process" to "completed"!

What a very inspiring precedent!

Pray, persevere and hope for the best!

Hello All

Is there any chances to fall coming draws for the selection with point 383? My cousin had 383 Points and since past two draw seen they selected applicant with high points only and below 400 is impossible for now.. He is Engineer Electrical working with worlds best company ABB Ltd... Has five years plus working experience.... Don/t know whether he will get nominated to apply under MPNP or not...

Hi Waiting Winni!

At this point nobody knows whats the lowest score the MPNP will include in the future draws for this year. Though you can find some members in this Forum who have shared their predictions here...

Let's hope for the best!

Prayers and preseverance are the only weapons we have in this battle!

Hi znarfier,

I have received LAA and now I am in process of sending application. But as I filled up my employment details, it showed the following error in the last tab "Review & Submit":

""Your total years of full time working is less than as was specified in the EOI-SW (see 'Review EOI-SW' in Review & Submit).""

In my EOI-SW, I answered that I worked 5 YEARS FULL TIME in past 5 years. While filling up the application after receiving LAA, I found that if I the data as follows then it shows the above error:

example not working but it's factual dates:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 23-09-2013 to present

But if I use the following details and overlap the dates of both jobs then the above error is not there.

Example which is working but not fact as the dates are overlapping:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 22-09-2013 to present

So can you please advise whether you faced any of such problem or if you have any solution?

Thanks

Hi prabhatiitd!

By sharing this info here, you are in a way educating other applicants who will be experiencing the same hurdle.

As per your question, I didn't have the same coz Ive been with my present company for more than 5 years now.

And with you having such issue only proves that the MPNP's system counter doesn't accept even just a day less than the required 5 yrs full working experience.

So, in order for you to finally submit your full application you have to mention the dates you mentioned above. Anyhow, it will be easy for you to explain it in case you will be asked during the interview.

Good luck and do stick around!

[size=10pt][size=10pt]Dear Experts!
I am new in this MPNP thing. and requesting for a clarification of my situation.
I have a close friend in Manitoba, who is a Canadian Citizen (immigrant). And I want to put his details as reference. But he is a Student in an University and does not have a Full Time Job.

My question is: Is there any requirement in MPNP program that the FRIEND has to have a certain level of Income to be a Reference? Just to clarify, I will be showing my own Settlement fund and wont be dependent on any other individual.

Your opinion will be much appreciated.

Your friend cannot be your reference, it must either be a brother or nephew.

Then can you please clarify the following?

Eligibility Points: Close friend or distant relative in Manitoba: 50 points.

What I understood if you dont have friend or relative you can not apply for MPNP. Then why did you say a friend can not be a reference? can you please clarify.

This is regarding filing forms for permanent residency after being nominated. please on the form IMM 5406 for additional family information, to be completed by both Principal applicant and spouse separately, how do i fill in the section A? should both spouse write their names in both forms on section A and the names of their parents too separately. Its a bit confusing. I have read the guide, but its not clearly spelt out. thanks

Please does one spouse need to take and pass the Test of English Exam (e.g. IELTS) before being qualified to be granted Permanent Visa. There is a space for that on one of the forms. Province has already nominated one of the spouse and has passed and submitted the test results as part of the initial application for nomiation. should the other spouse also take the test and pass now? please advice.
