Yes, I totally agree with what you said, that's what I am worrying about and sad about :'(. I can do nothing right now, but pray for the best and prepare well for the worst :'( :'( :'(.
Thank you very much Druce. God bless you.
You do need a connection to Manitoba but it doesn't have to be a person. It can also be having education or at least 6 months at a full time job in Manitoba.
Is it posible for you to afford to go to school in Manitoba. I know tuition is expensive and you also need to have enough money to support yourself. So you would be looking at needing at least $20,000 CND. You would need to get accepted to a Manitoba university (Red River College may also count). Then apply for a student visa. Once you have completed at least a certificate program you can use that as your connection to Manitoba
Other ways people get the employment connection is to come over on holiday visa's also called IEC visa's but I don't think they are available in every country. But basically the visa is for a year so as long as they get a job fairly fast they can get the 6 months in.
Also I don't know much about it but you could look into something called the Morden comminity driven imigration I initiative.
Just to let you know that having a friend in another part of Canada could count against you but if you could afford to go to school here then maybe you could meet other people and prove you have a stonger connection to Manitoba. I know that it may not be affordable to get a connection to Manitoba by coming on a student visa and that you are looking at having to wait to even apply to mpnp until after you graduate so you would be looking at years before getting PR but I just wanted to let you know there could be other options.
