I'm not a senior, but I have spent many many hours reading all the info available for my applicaiton (general stream) and in order to be able to apply for this programm you MUST prove a (strong) relationship to Manitoba. i think if you attended university in MB or already work(ed) there you don't need a freind or relative. if none of that is the case for you, you might want to look into a federal programm instead of provincial.

hope this helps!

I think in order to apply in either FS or GS online application you need to have a close family or A distance relative/ friend respectively. if you do not know any one in manitoba. I think there is a possibility of apply in Exploratory Visits. for more info, please look this linkhttp://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t133220.0.html and you will get better idea.

Good luck

Guys i need help,
I just learned today that a friend of mine who will support me also supported her niece, she just submitted her niece's application thru online last december 2013, and mine is march of this year. What will happen to my application then?

Im so worried, please reply

Hello!

I am planning to submit my application by the end of Apr. 2014.
I am just finalizing all the requirements but my main concern is my financial declaration.

My question: Is it necessary to already have CAD 10,000.00 reflected in your bank cert/statement upon submission of the application?

Your replies are highly appreciated.

Thanks
Erwin

Hello everyone! I'm currently preparing all the docs needed for my MPNP application but there's a problem causing delay. I already contacted Manitoba Immigration through phone and e-mail but there's still no answer. I hope someone can help me here so I can submit my application immediately. :(

A friend will endorse my application but I failed to provide the recommended 10,000 CAD on my bank account. I only have 6,000 CAD and to resolve this, my sponsor will attach an Affidavit of Financial Support together with her bank statement on her SP2. Does anyone here tried this method already? Will I be rejected because I didn't reach the 10,000 CAD settlement fund? And my sponsor has only 10,000CAD on her bank too but she has a full-time and part-time job. Please guys help me. :(

Hi, we both have same case of not having 10K CAD. I am not really sure on how to proceed my application.
Got any update on yours?

it is a requirement to have a 10k cad if you are a single applicant and 2k cad each of your dependent. If your cash is not sufficient ,you may also include your properties as proof of funds.just attach supporting documents

Hi, this is what is written on immigratemanitoba.com under Manitoba support:

1. A friend or distant relative must not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program.
Note: This condition applies to your household. For example: If you are supporting an application, your spouse cannot be the supporter of another application.

2. A close relative may support more than one close family applicant at a time − provided the supporter satisfactorily demonstrates the ability to do so.

Hope this helps.

hello,
i just submitted my MPNP application and my supporter was asked to complete the settlement plan 2 but i don't know which form to use
the new interactive form
or the one supplied in their e-mail to my supporter which is not filled by adobe acrobat

your supporter

Hi thewanderer,
It's the form attached to the email that was sent to your supporter.your supporter would print it,fill it by hand, then scan and send to the email address written in their letter email, along with the supporting docs
