Hi gautam. I have also applied in same stream. Mine supporters intervied on 11/5/2015. I heard that they after initial enquiry are enquiring supporters job places. I am not interviewed and i have also not got any reply. So we are on a same boggy in one train. Dont worry all is well. We all will made it in order one day. Where are u from? I am from ahmedabbad.

I read somewhere on the forum that the cap was reached for teachers and nurses

does anyone know where this information came from, or how we can find out if this applies to school teachers only

it is important to get the correct NOC codes to see what actually is on hold due to capacity being reached.

also......come 1 January 2016 do those caps fall away and the new intake for those NOC's become available once again?

any responses are most welcome as they will help answer the questions as to why the LOA's are taking as long as they are.

Dear Govender,

Speaking frankly, I don't believe that the quotas for nurses and teachers have been done as no credible evidence to believe. We all know immigration Manitoba having some issues to process the pending applications. Remember they were allocated 5500 positions ( 5000+500) by the federal govt to fill during this year and Manitoba PNP only reopened in April, so from April to till date I guess only 20-30% nomination can be distributed by looking at the current slow trends.

One thing is sure that they are way behind the schedule due to lacking in strategic planning to process the applications. Of course its a long wait, hard to cope... but nothing can be done at this stage. From my point of view, it would be better option if they introduce fees for the nomination applications that would support MPNP financially to run the program more smoothly and efficiently.

Usually it takes around 6 months for medical request. They take about first 3 months for acknowledgement and another 3 months for asking medical done.. there is chance of +- 1 month also.
